Program Support Officer, Integration

  • Full Time (1.0 FTE), Maximum Term role until 25 June 2027
  • Remuneration: Band 2 - $64,462.86 - $73,325.34 +12% Superannuation
  • Generous NFP salary packaging options up to $18,550.
  • Location - 737 Bourke Street, Docklands Victoria 3008, Close to Southern Cross Train Station, Onsite or Hybrid; WFH (2-3 days)

About the role

The Program Support Officer, Integration will provide administrative and coordination support across health programs within the Integration team during the commissioning process. This includes maintaining documentation, scheduling meetings, preparing minutes, and liaising effectively with internal and external stakeholders. You will understand how to juggle different priorities, have clear written and spoken communication and the ability to adapt quickly to changing programs. The Integration team plans, commissions and manages programs that address service system issues across primary, community, acute and aged care.

What will my typical week look like?

  • Scheduling meetings across the Integration team
  • Attending relevant team meetings and writing minutes
  • Ensuring compliance and quality documents are up-to-date and improved when required.
  • Organising and assisting with data collection and management
  • Coordinating onsite meeting requirements and develop meeting presentations and resources for the team
  • Cross-collaborating within the Integration team, along with broader teams including the Integrated Care team, Procurement, Monitoring and Evaluation and Communication teams
  • Support the Lead, Integration by managing invoices, preparing reports, and maintaining records in NWMPHN's internal Contract Management System (CMS), while also assisting other team members during periods of high workload
  • Managing the Aged Care Support inbox and CareFinder provider hub, liaising with stakeholders via email where appropriate and referring nuanced questions to the Lead, Integration

About you:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification in public health, public policy, health promotion, health service management, clinical studies or related studies and/or relevant ‘on the job' professional skills and expertise
  • Skills in building effective relationships and collaborating with internal team members
  • Organised and adaptable to a variety of tasks and priorities, with sound interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Office365 including Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Sound writing skills with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports
  • Ideally, you will also have experience in supporting contract management, including the development of reports and assisting with monitoring and evaluation and
  • Knowledge of the Victorian Healthcare System and contemporary health policy issues
