Manager, Technical Analysis & Process Improvement

- Remuneration: Band 5: $111,480.64 - $131,811.66 + 12% superannuation + generous NFP salary packaging options up to $18,550.
- Location - 737 Bourke Street, Docklands Victoria 3008, Close to Southern Cross Train Station, Onsite or Hybrid; WFH (2-3 days)
Short description about the role
Reporting to the Technical Development Director, the Manager, Technical Analysis & Process Improvement role will be responsible for driving digitally-enabled process improvements across the organisation. You will act as a critical bridge between business needs and technical implementation, working with other key stakeholders to deliver systems and processes that are fit-for-purpose and aligned with strategic goals.
Leading a Technical Business Analyst and working in close collaboration with solution architecture, software development, and data analytics teams, the Manager will identify and clearly scope complex business challenges so that solutions can be developed to better meet strategic objectives. This encompasses enterprise-wide initiatives that focus on the automation of workflows, system integration, and data-informed decision-making.
This is a highly collaborative role suited to a strategic thinker with strong technical judgement, stakeholder engagement skills, and a passion for improving how systems and processes support organisational performance.

What will my typical week look like?
- Contribute to the implementation of robust technical solutions by translating complex business challenges and developing high-quality business and technical requirements and other relevant documentation, such gap analyses, state diagrams, system diagrams, and process maps
- Act as a trusted advisor and technical liaison to business stakeholders, building strong relationships to promote solution adoption, continuous improvement, and user-centred design
- Identify and lead opportunities for process improvement and automation, applying systems and design thinking to streamline workflows, enhance system integration, and ensure best practice is consistent across the business
- Collaborate with architecture, software development, and data analytics teams to define scalable and integrated solutions to meet evolving business and technical needs.
- Coordinate with the service delivery team on timelines and scope to ensure key milestones are achieved to ensure quality of analysis and documentation
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Systems, Business Analysis, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in a technical business systems or digital transformation leadership role.
- Experience in bringing stakeholders and teams together across a business together to support process improvement initiatives
- Demonstrated experience in leading the analysis, design, and delivery of complex business systems and reporting solutions.
- Experience in preparing complex project documentation, such as business requirements, process maps, and reports.
- Strong leadership, people management, time management skills, strategic awareness and strong collaboaration skills
- Demonstrated ability to consult, influence and facilitate with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and best practices.
