Administration Support Officer

  • Remuneration: Band 1 - $57,621.35 - $64,183.00 + 12% superannuation + generous NFP salary packaging options up to $18,550
  • Full-time (1.0 FTE) Permanent role
  • Docklands office location - Hybrid; WFH (2-3 days)

You will provide essential operational and administrative support to the Primary Health Care Improvement (PHCI) team within the Health Systems Integration business unit. The PHCI team works to strengthen primary care to deliver integrated, person-centred, accessible, and coordinated care. Your role will be pivotal in supporting the team's day-to-day operations, calendar management, document preparation, and knowledge management systems to ensure efficient and effective delivery of programs and services.
This is an ideal role for an organised and proactive administrator looking to deepen their experience in primary health care support and contribute to better health outcomes for the community.

We are North Western Melbourne Primary Health Network (NWMPHN), Victoria's largest independent, locally governed and run, not-for-profit PHN, dedicated to improving primary health care in Melbourne's northern, western and inner-city areas. What will my typical week look like:

  • Providing high-level administrative support to the PHCI team, including complex calendar and scheduling management
  • Supporting meeting coordination, minute-taking, and operational logistics for the Director and PHCI team.
  • Drafting correspondence, sourcing information, and preparing documents and communications as required
  • Contributing to project support by developing resources, program documents, and communications

About you:

  • Strong organisational skills with demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience drafting, reviewing, and editing documents
  • Confident in using technology and systems, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience maintaining accurate records and developing systems for efficient workflow management.
  • High level of professionalism in dealing with diverse stakeholders and maintaining confidentiality
